Another chance of rain and storms is expected late tonight into Wednesday as a cold front moves south across Texas. The best opportunity for a quick round of storms will be in North Texas, Northeast Texas, Central Texas, the Brazos Valley, and East Texas Wednesday morning (north) into Wednesday afternoon (moving south). Some storms may produce small hail, gusty winds, and a quick half-inch of rain. It’ll be far more bark than bite in the storm department. Temperature-wise, tomorrow’s cold front will pack a punch, and temperatures will fall about twenty degrees with gusty north winds behind the front.
The remainder of the work week looks mostly dry, with the coolest temperatures in northeastern Texas. This weekend, a major Arctic outbreak will invade the eastern forty percent (or so) of the United States, but we’ll only get a glancing blow in the eastern sections of Texas.
