Texas Storm Alert: Hail Expected Tonight!

Scattered thunderstorms are likely between 12 AM and 8 AM across the Concho Valley, Big Country, Texoma, North Texas, northern Hill Country, Northeast Texas, and the Ark-La-Tex. These storms will quickly move east/northeast at 50 to 60 mph.

Even during the night, the most intense storms will probably produce very large hail, possibly the size of tennis balls, along with strong wind gusts and frequent cloud-to-ground lightning. The tornado threat is low, but not zero. Make sure you have a way to receive weather warnings overnight, especially if you want to avoid a surprise wake-up call from a hail storm!
