So much for that lull. Multiple severe storms have returned, producing large hail in the D/FW Metroplex and northeast into Fannin County, just northeast of Leonard. These storms are primarily moving east or southeast at 10 to 20 MPH. One storm in eastern Tarrant County, near D/FW, is a splitting supercell, with one part moving northeast and the other moving southeast. All of these storms are capable of producing hail ranging from the size of a quarter to that of a golf ball. The good news is that most storms this evening have been short-lived, weakening after about 30 to 45 minutes.
