An intense severe thunderstorm is northeast of Reklaw, moving east at 25 MPH toward Mount Enterprise. This storm is advancing east along Highway 84, and it may be producing tennis-ball-sized hail and damaging winds.
Arrival time in Mount Enterprise is by 8:45 PM, moving toward Timpson by 9:15 PM. This storm is showing signs of rotation, and while the tornado threat is low, it is not zero. We’ll continue to monitor closely.

Other storms have attempted to develop back southwest toward Crockett and Madisonville, but have not intensified thus far. We’ll keep tracking trends, as additional storms are possible in East Texas into the eastern Brazos Valley this evening.
Any storms that do manage to develop and sustain may become intense with a threat of very large hail, localized damaging winds, and a non-zero threat of a tornado. If we see multiple storms develop, we may observe a cluster organizing closer to midnight and beginning to move south/southeast toward the Piney Woods of East Texas and the Golden Triangle early Monday morning.
