Good morning! What a difference a day makes. Temperatures are running a full 25-30° warmer than yesterday. The culprit: a surge in humidity and clouds. The change will lead to a mostly cloudy and warm day. A few sprinkles can’t be ruled out, while temperatures eventually top out near 70 later today.
Humidity thickens even more tonight and Saturday morning will be foggy and occasionally drizzly. Prepare for damp conditions. Skies will become mostly cloudy during the afternoon, with potential for more precipitation, this time in the form of a stray shower or storm. In both cases, whether it be drizzle or a bona fide shower — rainfall totals will not be significant. Temperatures are forecast to be in the mid-70s.
Sunday plays out in the same way. Drizzle and fog early, and a stray shower or two during the afternoon. If we’re splitting hairs, Sunday may present us with a bit more sunshine during the afternoon. But, expect more clouds than sun, in general, this weekend.
Next week will feature a couple of fronts. One that could stir up a bit of rain on Monday and a stronger front that will move through Wednesday. The latter will clear us out and cool us down for the second half of next week.
