Widespread damaging winds likely with isolated significant gusts to 80 mph possible Isolated large hail events to 1 inch in diameter possible SUMMARY...High-based convection should gradually increase in coverage and intensity as it spreads northeastward across the central High Plains this afternoon and evening. Numerous strong to severe wind gusts should be the main threat with this activity, with the highest gusts potentially reaching up to 70-80 mph. Scattered damaging winds likely with isolated significant gusts to 75 mph possible Isolated large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible SUMMARY...Thunderstorms that have developed over the higher terrain of the southern/central Rockies will continue to move quickly east-northeastward this afternoon and early evening.
