Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph likely Isolated large hail events to 1 inch in diameter possible A tornado or two possible SUMMARY...A cluster of thunderstorms over southern Illinois should
further intensify this afternoon as it spreads eastward across parts
of the Lower Ohio Valley. Scattered severe/damaging winds up to
60-70 mph should be the main threat, but an line-embedded tornado or
two may also occur. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 60
statute miles north and south of a line from 75 miles west northwest
