At least humidity will stay low
Helene is wreaking havoc on Florida and Georgia, with storm surge inundating much of the west coast of Florida. San Antonio’s forecast continues to feature low humidity, with warm afternoon temperatures.
When a hurricane threatens the United States, a lot of attention is focused on the path and the wind speed. Storm surge can be just as important to monitor, because it can quickly cause extreme destruction and death.
Cool mornings, warm afternoons, and clear skies will be norm over the next five days.
A front slides through later today, with only a small shot at rain just after lunch. Then, it turns breezy and humidity levels drop.
It happens every year: millions of American snout butterflies — known colloquially as “snout nose butterflies” — migrate through San Antonio.
After isolated showers and storms today and early tomorrow, a push of drier air will make for slightly more comfortable weather ahead.
A few weak fronts will play a role in this week’s forecast, keeping some small rain chances in the forecast. They’ll also give us drier, cooler air by Thursday.
Isolated rain chances in the mix this week, too
Still, it’ll be a warm and humid weekend for San Antonio
