SpaceX’s Crew-8 faces weeks-long weather delays, impacting return to Earth

Crew-8’s Dragon capsule was originally expected to undock on Oct. 7, but Hurricane Milton delayed their homecoming. Continued rough seas and gusty winds in the available splashdown zones have continued to impact the spacecraft’s return trip – now not expected to happen before Oct. 22. The mission has become one of the longest Dragon endeavors in history, lasting more than 230 days.
