Hurricane Milton caused parks throughout Central Florida to close for about a day and disrupted the sailing of the company’s cruise ships from nearby Port Canaveral, Florida.

A large marsh fire broke out southwest of New Orleans on Thursday in St. Charles Parish. While now homes are threatened, visibilities along major interstates west of New Orleans could drop to dangerously low levels.
