Stormy Weather Forecast For Texas Tomorrow & Monday With Damaging Wind And Tornado Threat

Thunderstorms are expected to increase in both number and intensity across the western half of Texas as we move through Sunday and into Sunday evening. Some of these storms may become severe, potentially producing damaging winds and spin-up tornadoes from Sunday night into Monday morning.

Scattered severe storms are expected Sunday night through Monday across the eastern two-thirds of Texas as a line of storms moves from west to east.

There is a low risk of tornadoes Sunday night across Northwest Texas, the Big Country, Permian Basin, West Texas, and Concho Valley.

A line of thunderstorms will move from west to east across the eastern two-thirds of Texas late Sunday and continue through Monday afternoon. While many storms will dissipate, some may still produce localized areas of damaging winds and brief tornadoes until they move into Arkansas and Louisiana by Monday afternoon. Additionally, heavy rainfall could lead to localized flooding in the eastern Panhandle, West Texas, Permian Basin, Northwest Texas, Big Country, and Concho Valley from Sunday afternoon through Monday morning.
