Storm Warning: MORE Arctic Air Follows Weekend Severe Weather Threat in Texas

Texas is experiencing a chilly and gray day, with fog, drizzle, and light rain expected tonight. However, don’t worry! We’re looking forward to a little warmup on Friday. Then, on Saturday, we might see some storms rolling in, particularly in the eastern third of the state. Some of these storms could get quite intense, with strong winds, hail, heavy rain, and even a chance of tornadoes! By Saturday evening, the storms should move out, leaving us mostly dry until Monday.

Next week, we’ll see a stronger cold front sweeping in, bringing much colder temperatures starting Tuesday. There’s a possibility of some rain beginning Tuesday, and with the colder air settling in, we might even have a bit of winter fun in the northern part of Texas! Let’s focus on enjoying the weekend’s weather before we tackle the colder, more active patterns ahead!
