 SEL6 URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Severe Thunderstorm Watch Number 646 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 120 PM MDT Sun Aug 25 2024 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of Western Colorado Eastern Utah Southern Wyoming * Effective this Sunday afternoon and evening from 120 PM until 800 PM MDT. * Primary threats include... Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2 inches in diameter possible Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible SUMMARY...Scattered storms, including some supercells, will continue to develop and increase across the region, with large hail and severe-caliber wind gusts possible through early/mid-evening. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 80 statute miles east and west of a line from 50 miles north northeast of Rock Springs WY to 45 miles south southwest of Blanding UT.
