 SEL5 URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Severe Thunderstorm Watch Number 645 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 255 PM MDT Fri Aug 23 2024 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of Western and Central Montana * Effective this Friday afternoon and evening from 255 PM until 900 PM MDT. * Primary threats include... Isolated significant damaging wind gusts to 75 mph possible SUMMARY...Scattered thunderstorms will continue to develop and move north-northeastward across the region through early evening, with severe-caliber wind gusts a possibility. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 95 statute miles east and west of a line from 25 miles north of Cut Bank MT to 40 miles south of Dillon MT.
