 SEL0 URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Severe Thunderstorm Watch Number 590 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 405 PM EDT Fri Aug 2 2024 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of Delaware Northeast Maryland Central and Southern New Jersey Southeast Pennsylvania Coastal Waters * Effective this Friday afternoon and evening from 405 PM until 900 PM EDT. * Primary threats include... Isolated damaging wind gusts to 65 mph possible SUMMARY...Scattered thunderstorms will track across the watch area through the afternoon, posing a risk of locally gusty/damaging winds. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 60 statute miles north and south of a line from 40 miles west southwest of Dover DE to 20 miles north northeast of Lakehurst NJ.
