 SEL6 URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Severe Thunderstorm Watch Number 566 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 400 AM CDT Tue Jul 30 2024 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of Southeast Iowa Northwest Illinois Far Northeast Missouri * Effective this Tuesday morning from 400 AM until 900 AM CDT. * Primary threats include... Scattered damaging winds and isolated significant gusts to 75 mph possible SUMMARY...A cluster of storms will continue southeastward across the region early this morning and potentially pose a risk for damaging winds. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 35 statute miles north and south of a line from 10 miles west southwest of Ottumwa IA to 30 miles east of Burlington IA.
