SEL3 URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Severe Thunderstorm Watch Number 523 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 335 PM CDT Sat Jul 13 2024 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of Southeast Minnesota Central Wisconsin Lake Michigan * Effective this Saturday afternoon and evening from 335 PM until 1000 PM CDT. * Primary threats include... Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible Isolated very large hail events to 2 inches in diameter possible SUMMARY...Clusters of thunderstorms are expected to intensify and track southeastward across the watch area through the afternoon and early evening. The strongest storms will pose a risk of locally damaging winds and hail. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 45 statute miles north and south of a line from 60 miles west northwest of La Crosse WI to 25 miles northeast of Oshkosh WI.
