SEL2 URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Severe Thunderstorm Watch Number 142 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 555 AM CDT Fri Apr 18 2025 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of Southern Wisconsin Lake Michigan * Effective this Friday morning from 555 AM until 1100 AM CDT. * Primary threats include... Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2 inches in diameter possible Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible SUMMARY...Multiple supercells and bowing structures will spread quickly eastward this morning across southern Wisconsin. Scattered large hail around 1-2 inches in diameter and 60-70 mph wind gusts may occur with this activity. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 30 statute miles north and south of a line from 40 miles west of Madison WI to 30 miles east northeast of Racine WI.
