FORECAST

Good morning! Showers continue to stream through San Antonio. Over the next few hours, some pockets of heavier rain may set up. Some thunderstorm activity is also possible, with a strong storm or two in the Hill Country. The rain will come to an end by 10am in San Antonio and will clear the viewing area by noontime.

SEVERE POTENTIAL

A few strong storms cannot be ruled out this morning, mainly north and northeast of San Antonio. The window for severe weather will come to an end by mid-morning.

RAINFALL

Most of us will see a half of an inch or less. For those who see heavier storms, up to an inch of rainfall will be possible. Those south of San Antonio will see the lowest rainfall totals.

CLEARING

Skies should clear this afternoon and humidity will exit the region. Expect highs near 70 today. Tonight, with dry air, temperatures will slip into the 40s. A freeze is not expected.
