FORECAST

Yesterday’s warmth turned out to be record-setting. A high of 85° tied a record last set in 1911. This morning, fog has once again developed across the area. Low visibility will be an issue in several spots this morning. Fog will lift by 10am and skies will clear later this afternoon, allowing us to reach the upper-70s.

HOW LONG WILL THIS WARMTH LAST?

The short answer: through Saturday. We’ll see a rinse and repeat type scenario, with warm, cloudy (and foggy at times) mornings and mostly sunny afternoons, with high temperatures well-above-average through Saturday afternoon. Humidity stays put.

NEXT COLD FRONT

The models have been consistent on bringing in our next front on Sunday. Potentially, we could be looking at 30° drop in high temperatures from Saturday to Super Bowl Sunday. Highs on Saturday are forecast to reach the mid-80s. With the front arriving Sunday morning, the day will start off mild, but likely end up rather cool (mid-50s). Additionally, gusty north winds will make it feel more like February again.

ANY RAIN?

There could be some light rainfall as the front pushes through Sunday, but don’t expect much. We may also see a few more showers on Monday. Currently rain chances both days sit at 20%.
