Multiple cold fronts will bring a temperature roller-coaster effect to Texas this week. Thankfully for those traveling across Texas, substantial precipitation is not expected to interfere with Thanksgiving plans. It’s looking like this year’s Thanksgiving will be on the chillier side. A freeze is expected tonight in the Panhandle and West Texas, with temperatures in the 30s south into the Hill Country and Concho Valley. After a brief but rapid warmup on Wednesday, a stronger cold front will push through all of Texas Wednesday Night into Thursday. A freeze is probable for the northern half of Texas by Friday morning. Unsettled weather will continue into the first week of December, as it is safe to say… winter is coming.
