URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Tornado Watch Number 354 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 330 PM CDT Thu May 30 2024 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Tornado Watch for portions of Far Southeast New Mexico West/Southwest Texas * Effective this Thursday afternoon and evening from 330 PM until 1100 PM CDT. * Primary threats include... A couple tornadoes possible Scattered large hail likely with isolated very large hail events to 3 inches in diameter possible Scattered damaging winds and isolated significant gusts to 75 mph possible SUMMARY...Scattered severe storms including supercells will develop across the region through late afternoon and early evening, including near a dryline as well as an outflow boundary, near where the greatest concern for a tornado risk exists. Large hail and severe-caliber wind gusts can otherwise be expected through the evening.
