330 PM CDT Thu May 30 2024 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Tornado Watch for portions of Far Southeast New Mexico West/Southwest Texas * Effective this Thursday afternoon and evening from 330 PM until 1100 PM CDT. * Primary threats include... A couple tornadoes possible Scattered large hail likely with isolated very large hail events to 3 inches in diameter possible Scattered damaging winds and isolated significant gusts to 75 mph possible SUMMARY...Scattered severe storms including supercells will develop
across the region through late afternoon and early evening,
including near a dryline as well as an outflow boundary, near where
the greatest concern for a tornado risk exists. Large hail and
severe-caliber wind gusts can otherwise be expected through the
evening. The tornado watch area is approximately along and 110 statute miles
north and south of a line from 35 miles south southwest of Wink TX
to 10 miles east southeast of San Angelo TX. For a complete
