URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Tornado Watch Number 602 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 1245 AM EDT Tue Aug 6 2024 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Tornado Watch for portions of Coastal South Carolina Coastal Waters * Effective this Tuesday morning from 1245 AM until 700 AM EDT. * Primary threats include... A couple tornadoes possible SUMMARY...Convective bands associated with Debby will continue to foster storms moving inland from the coastal waters. Stronger embedded mini supercells within the convective bands will yield an attendant tornado risk near the coast through much of the overnight and into the early morning. The tornado watch area is approximately along and 40 statute miles north and south of a line from 85 miles southwest of Charleston SC to 60 miles east northeast of Charleston SC.
