The Wyoming Department of Transportation reported Saturday that a landslide had wiped out part of the Teton Pass, which connects Wyoming to Idaho. Additionally, a mudslide was reported to have overwhelmed drainage at another site. National Weather Service meteorologists said recent rains in combination with a significant snowmelt likely played a role in the events.
