Not quite record warmth, but it won’t feel like winter this week

FORECAST HIGHLIGHTS

  • PATCHY FOG: Today and tomorrow during the morning hours
  • AM CLOUDS/PM SUN: Expect this pattern all week long
  • SUNDAY FRONT: A cold front is forecast by next weekend

FORECAST

Good morning! After a beautiful, warm weekend, we’re headed into a warm, humid week. The return of humid air from the Gulf is resulting in morning clouds and patchy fog. Overcast skies will last for a few hours this morning, before we get mostly sunny skies this afternoon. That’ll get us into the low-80s later today.

SPRING-LIKE WARMTH

Above-average warmth will be with us all week and it’ll feel a lot like spring. Humid, cloudy mornings will give way to partial sun in the afternoons. We could see some patchy drizzle any given morning, however, any measurable rainfall will hold off until late in the weekend.

SUNDAY COLD FRONT

As of now, a cold front will arrive on Sunday morning. While the timing could change a bit, know that the second half of the weekend has the potential to be quite a bit cooler. Clouds will settle in and showers will be possible with the frontal passage. Additionally, it’ll turn windy and temperatures may steadily drop into the 50s by Sunday afternoon. Rain chances, cool weather, and cloud cover will continue into Monday.
