FORECAST
Good morning! The holiday week can be best summed up by saying it’ll be warm, with some small windows for rain. In the short term, we’ll be watching for patchy fog this morning. Regardless of fog, we’ll see morning clouds. These will hold through the first half of the day, with some sunshine this afternoon. Expect highs in the mid-70s.
Christmas Eve will see another round of fog and morning clouds. Like today, sunshine during the afternoon will push high temperatures into the mid to upper-70s. It’ll be warm and somewhat humid. Then, by the evening, a weak front will stir up a line of showers and storms. San Antonio will only see the tail end of this, with small chances for the metro. East of town, along I-10, the odds increase. For those west of San Antonio, rain stays out of the forecast. We’ll keep Santa posted on the forecast!
Slightly drier air attempts to move in by Christmas morning, meaning it’ll be quiet to start the day. While temperatures may come down a bit, it’ll still be above average. Highs are forecast to reach the low-70s. Skies will be mostly sunny to partly cloudy.
Thursday, we revert back to humid conditions and a chance for rain. Another storm system will help give lift to some showers and even a storm or two. Skies will be mostly cloudy and temperatures, once again, will be in the 70s. Rain chances with this system may be higher than what we see Christmas Eve. Stay tuned for more updates!
