FORECAST
Good morning!
A cold front moved through overnight, setting us up for a windy and cooler day. Morning temperatures in the upper 40s will transition to highs near 60° this afternoon in San Antonio. That’s about 20 degrees cooler than yesterday!
Winds will gust upwards of 30 to 35 miles per hour today in the wake of the front, so be sure to have those outdoor holiday decorations secured.
That gusty north wind will start to calm overnight. Combine that with clear skies and dry air, and temperatures will tumble as we sleep. Lows will likely bottom out in the low 30s closer to San Antonio Wednesday morning, with most outlying areas experiencing a light freeze.
You do *not* need to worry about your pipes this go around, but bring in or cover sensitive vegetation, make sure your pets have a warm place to sleep, and also bundle up the kiddos before they head out to the bus stop early Wednesday.
Highs will gradually warm, but still stay in the 60s through Thursday. A touch more humidity arrives into the upcoming weekend with temperatures back in the 70s by Friday.
More updates to come! Until then, have a great day. ~ Mia
