 SEL6 URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Tornado Watch Number 236 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 1150 AM EDT Mon May 13 2024 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Tornado Watch for portions of The Florida Panhandle Coastal Waters * Effective this Monday morning and evening from 1150 AM until 700 PM EDT. * Primary threats include... A couple tornadoes possible Scattered damaging winds likely with isolated significant gusts to 75 mph possible Isolated large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible SUMMARY...A small bowing cluster will continue eastward this afternoon across parts of the FL Panhandle, while posing a threat for a few tornadoes and scattered severe/damaging winds of 60-75 mph. The tornado watch area is approximately along and 40 statute miles north and south of a line from 40 miles west northwest of Panama City FL to 70 miles east southeast of Tallahassee FL.
