Texas Weather: Storm Chances & Less Hot through Labor Day Weekend

Unsettled weather with daily thunderstorm chances and less hot temperatures will be commonplace across Texas through Labor Day Weekend. We’ll deal with hit-or-miss popup storms, so we’re not looking at a multi-day washout for most folks.

There are no signs of the heat dome returning to Texas as we head into the first week of September. That’ll allow for our unsettled weather pattern to continue into next week. With the chance of daily pop-up storms, most of Texas should get at least some rain over the next five days. Some folks may get a bucketful! Keep the popup storm chances in mind for any outdoor plans, and if thunder roars, go indoors.
