750 PM CDT Fri May 2 2025 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of South central Texas and the middle Texas coast Coastal Waters * Effective this Friday night and Saturday morning from 750 PM until 200 AM CDT. * Primary threats include... Isolated very large hail events to 2 inches in diameter possible Isolated damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible SUMMARY...Clusters of storms, including supercells, will spread
southeastward through tonight. The more intense storms will be
capable of producing large hail up to 2 inches in diameter and
damaging gusts up to 70 mph. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 50
statute miles north and south of a line from 45 miles west northwest
of Laredo TX to 40 miles south southeast of Victoria TX. For a
