Floridaâs citrus growers brace for smallest production in 95 years following hurricanes, disease
Data from the U.S. Department of Agriculture forecasts the Sunshine Stateâs orange production to be off more than 33% when compared to the 2023-2024 harvesting season. Florida growers are expected to produce 12 million boxes of oranges during the 2024-2025 season which would be the lowest since 1930.
