The U.S. Department of Agriculture is leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) to improve cranberry harvesting efforts in New Jersey, targeting enhanced fruit productivity, disease resistance and tolerance against weather extremes. A system known as a BerryBox analyzes the cranberries by producing detailed imagery.
