URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Severe Thunderstorm Watch Number 388 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 1015 PM CDT Mon Jun 3 2024 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of Central and Eastern Oklahoma * Effective this Monday night and Tuesday morning from 1015 PM until 500 AM CDT. * Primary threats include... Scattered large hail likely with isolated very large hail events to 2.5 inches in diameter possible Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible SUMMARY...Scattered thunderstorms are expected to form and track across the watch area through the overnight hours. Large hail is the primary threat, although damaging winds may also become a concern later tonight. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 45 statute miles north and south of a line from 45 miles northwest of Chickasha OK to 65 miles east of Mcalester OK.
