Severe weather is back in the forecast again for the central and southern Plains just hours after strong thunderstorms and tornadoes rolled across Texas on Thursday and Friday.
Storm Chaser Freddy McKinney was tracking a large and dangerous tornado around the town of Hamlin, Texas, on Thursday, when the Lambert Family approached his vehicle, screaming for help. Kasey Lambert said the family hunkered down in a closet, but the tornado threw her son into a pile of bricks.
The 150th Run for the Roses will take place on Saturday at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky. Rain is expected to be around when the race kicks off at 6:57 p.m. ET. The Kentucky Derby will take place rain or shine, but a muddy track can impact the results of the race.
