The National Weather Service office in Omaha, Nebraska, issued a Tornado Emergency for communities in southwest Iowa on Friday. Storm chasers captured video of a large twister producing damage in the towns of Shelby and Minden in Iowa.

A supercell that began southwest of Lincoln, Nebraska, crossed Interstate 80 and caused significant damage outside of Omaha, Nebraska on Friday. Over a dozen people were injured during the event, and the National Weather Service in Omaha declared a Tornado Emergency.
